22.01.2022 Yesterday was a fantastic day at the Year 10 camp, full of many wonderful moments shared with peers and teachers. Highlights include capsizing the boys, frustrating Miss McKee in the canoe, canoeing 17km across the Noosa River and spending the day with an awesome bunch of people. 20.01.2022 At Year 10 camp we set up our tents and walked over to the river where we had a safety briefing and learned how to paddle and steer our canoes, before hitting the water. We are excited and looking forward to a great week. More adventures to follow . Mrs Applewaite - Secondary Teacher

20.01.2022 Year 10 camp update: We arrived just after lunch and set up our tents. The students enjoyed the chicken burgers for lunch before the groups split up going on a for 14 km hike or off to learn how to paddle their canoes. Greg Bergel - Secondary Teacher

17.01.2022 Today we started off with boating to the Everglades at Lake Coolharaba. Then we canoed 7 km to the third campsite. It was tough! After, we hiked up to the sand patch, which had an amazing view. Resulting with hiking back down the 11km trail, exhausted and tired. Eladonnia, Year 10 student

16.01.2022 Students and staff had another wonderful evening at Year 9 camp with delicious food and fun activities. This morning they are completing their last group activities before heading back to the College. We have had a great time together and also wonderful to see our students happily serving others. I have enjoyed stand up paddle boarding and the food has been delicious. - Amy... My highlight has been the Giant paddle boarding and I absolutely loved the hike. I have enjoyed getting to know other students from DE. - Eli I have enjoyed visiting the different groups and working with the students outside of the library. 14.01.2022 Year 10 camp adventure continues. Climbing group 1 at Tinbeerwah Noosa. Students courageously overcame their fears to climb up and then down the side of a 24m rock face, to overcome their fears. They then abseiled down a 30m rock face. The Groves crew encouraged each other and worked well as a team. 13.01.2022 Dear Families, Due to the current upset in our Logan community, unfortunately we are unable to allow spectators to attend the Secondary School cross country event tomorrow, July 29. We continue to remain committed to looking after our community. The event will still proceed tomorrow for students, hygiene processes are in place for the students to compete in the carnival. We will ensure lots of photos will be made available for you to view. Please remember when dropping off or picking up your children to remain in your vehicle where possible and if entering the College please exercise social distancing.
