18.01.2022 Grow ELC Proudly Presents: National Reconciliation week This event is celebrated every year from 27th May- 3rd June nation-wide and is a beautiful effort to strengthen and build meaningful relationships between Aboriginal, Torres Strait islander people and broader Australian community. It is very interesting how this years theme resonated with our current situation as it says, In This Together. So, as it says, we are not only together supporting each other in the pr...esent unpredictable times, but also, we always should stand together united and equal in this beautiful country of ours. On our part we are aiming to bring this about by building on the knowledge, respect and awareness in our children about the culture and history of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People. We hope will promote in our children a learning that takes them towards creating a just, equitable and united society later on in their lives and contribute to the reconciliation journey. See more
