25.01.2022 A walk around the display this afternoon

23.01.2022 Our Annual Orchid Display and Sales Day was a success with plenty of visitors attending on a day that was far from enjoyable outside (burr). Many who attended lingered longer than usual with plenty of hot tea and coffee, along with some sumptuous treats, rather than venture back outside to the elements. Congratulations to the ladies who looked after the kitchen and baked the treats. Craig Miles from Orchids of Distinction provided plenty of orchid supplies and plants to tempt. 14.01.2022 Our meeting venue is changing as of the June meeting, We have sourced a new venue in the Annex at the South Barwon Community Centre, 33 Mount Pleasant Road, Belmont. This meeting, Hugh will give a presentation a little on the naming of Orchids and a little on the Oncidiinae Alliance, what species make up the intergenerics within the group.

10.01.2022 Next meeting will be held on Monday 22nd April (Easter Monday). Roger will be talking on carniverous plants. Seems like everyone with orchids has one or two of these. Bring along your plants for discussion and to show off your flowers. Also bring along a plate for supper and stay and have a chat. New members most welcome.
