02.01.2022 It's raining yay! I'm taking the opportunity to smash out an assignment for my horticulture course. I was writing up about creating snail traps (using BEER) to stop them eating veggies (will be very appropriate shortly once all the sluggies and snails come out after the rain). BUT .... I stumbled across this very interesting and awesome video of a timelapse BEER trap to catch snails. It appears to not be as great as I thought it was (most just take a moderate sip and carry... on their veggie munching ways) So lesson to be learnt... Drink the beer yourself and send your kids or get out there with a bucket and pick those suckers off while you are drinking a beer ;-) Link to vid here: https://youtu.be/cf6FHv5x3sc
