Please see below for info on Guest Speaker and her presentation/bio Guest Speaker - Robyn Monro Miller - Presentation title " Trouble-Free Transitions for Little People" As your child commences their first years of formal schooling there is great anticipation and sometimes trepidation. Robyn will present on how to support children's transition to school and OOSH including managing friendships, understanding the impact of play on healthy brain development and managing the emotional rollercoaster in that first important year. The presentation includes practical strategies for parents to ensure a successful start to this new adventure. Bio With a background in Primary education, Robyn has 30 years experience in children's services and has held representative leadership roles in Australian children’s services at a state, national level and international level for the past 25 years. She is currently President of the International Play Association (IPA). Robyn’s work as an advocate for Children’s Services has been recognised with the awarding of Commonwealth Centenary medal. In 2018 she was awarded the Joan Matheson Distinguished Service Award by Play Australia.
