18.01.2022 This 4500 sqm section in kenthurst was really struggling. We managed to fit it in today as it is struggling with almost any nsw turf weed you could think of. Today’s plan: blanket spray the whole area, get the broadleaf thorny weeds under control, and apply a 6 month pre-emergent herbicide to stop even Paspalum coming back up. So far this is a one- off job, but yes we love working on acreage as it’s where we are from and love the open space! ... And what a beautiful day to be outside! 0405391280 #growlawncare

17.01.2022 This was taken just before summer 2019 since then, we have done dozens of acreage, commercial properties, even schools and public grounds. There is no issue to treat lawns well over a hectare in size, easy peasy! This one we were treating for common lawn insects( although we wanted to treat for the clover too ), which was a common occurance every spring/summer resulting in huge lawn damage. We treated with a non toxic, long lasting ( 6 months) product so it was safe for the... kids to run around and enjoy the lawn over summer! If you engage GROW, where required ( or simply asked) we will provide ALL: Insurances ( workers, public liability, vehicles etc) Chemical licenses ( AQF & EPA ) SWMS SDS sheets for chemicals used Minimum 5 days notice before any work, and spray logs upon completion. This is why when you engage with GROW Lawn Care , you shouldn’t have to, but can request and know any license we have for; - insurances... - EPA spray licenses - chemical handling and storage licenses - knowledge of the law for spraying public grounds and associated nearby areas - history or our knowledge with said chemicals MOST IMPORTANTLY: - knowledge of APVMA guidelines which means you will never find a turf designated chemical, in a third party bottle( such as a coke bottle) in our van, or anywhere in our stock. It’s sad, and this article highlights why it’s such a problem. It has happened before, and will happen again. This post will reach the whole world potentially, so this applies to anyone who decants chemicals without labelling them correctly. And if you read the article, it is not a way you want to go to hospital. 06.01.2022 Had an absolute blast organising and getting these 2 baseball fields treated and sorted out. It had been about 5 years since they had been able to get the chance to really get a crack onto the weeds which were now really overtaking the infield, and especially outfield. Spraying conditions were perfect on the day and with the pre-emergent put down it should really make this field start to pop by opening time in October. All that should really be needed each year is a good pre... emergent program to keep the adjacent empty spaces from driving the seeds back onto the fields!
