25.01.2022 Ahead of our first weekend of golf under Metropolitan Melbourne's stage 3 restrictions, please note that the following applies to all golfers: - Golf is only to be played in groups of two players - Carts or pull buggies are not available so please bring your own pull buggy or be prepared to carry your clubs - Hire clubs are also not available... - There will be no competition play for this week - The Driving Range is not available - We ask that golfers do not loiter once their game has finished With six weeks of this ahead, we're thankful of still being able to host golfers on the course and are appreciative of everyone's patience and willingness to work with the restrictions put in place. 25.01.2022 Lock-down Update Growling Frog Driving Range is now CLOSED. Unfortunately, in compliance with the restrictions put in place by the Government of Victoria, we've had to close the Growling Frog Driving Range for the duration of Metropolitan Melbourne's lock-down period. Taken directly from the Department of Health & Human Services website: ... "People playing together must be able to keep 1.5 metres distance from each other, and maintain 100 meters from all other groups, (e.g. only two people should be playing a single hole at a time). Shared facilities and driving ranges cannot open and equipment must not be shared or rented." We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and hope that everyone stays safe whilst respecting the regulations put in place. 24.01.2022 A massive thank you to the team from Acushnet Australia Pty Ltd for coming to the Frog and running a Titleist fitting day. Unfortunately with the weather rolling in, we were not able to complete all fittings, but for the lucky few who booked in early, they loved the experience.

24.01.2022 ---- Lock-down Update ---- As we're all aware, Metropolitan Melbourne enters into a second lock-down for a period of six weeks from midnight tonight. Golf is allowed as a recreational sporting activity, albeit under strict conditions. From Thursday the 9th of July, the following conditions will apply at Growling Frog: - All golf will be played in groups of 2 only... - The restaurant and cafe will only be available for take away food and beverage - Clubs cannot be hired for the golf course or driving range Our golf time-sheets are currently closed, however these will be available for booking in groups of two from tomorrow onward. Thanks everyone for your ongoing understanding and stay safe.

We're happy to confirm that despite some confusion, Growling Frog Golf is located within the suburb of Yan Yean and therefore does not fit into the state government's list of designated lock-down suburbs. We remain committed to the health of staff, patrons and broader community so it would be appreciated if people residing in those suburbs do not attend the facility for activity outside of the four prescribed reasons. ...
