23.01.2022 Yes we have been unwell here for nearly 2 weeks now, but happy to say we are almost out of the woods! Should be ready to be back on deck come Monday!! In the meantime, just letting y'all know we are restocked in Zinc, Vit C, Vit D3 (drops) and the ever faithful ArmaForce Cough relief.

22.01.2022 Hello beautiful people! You'll be pleased to know we have been back in action this week, now that we are healthy once again! You'll notice a few changes around the practice. There are less chairs in the waiting room and a few extra chairs outside in the fresh air. Appointments are being spaced out to ensure there is minimal waiting time. There is hand sanitiser at the desk, and we ask that you please use it upon entering the practice. Alternatively, you can pop down the hall...way to the bathroom and use soap and water, if you prefer! We are cleaning every surface that is touched, after every patient. So much cleaning! We all need to help each other out, so please, if you are not feeling well, give us a call and we will reschedule your appointment. Until we see you next, be well and look after your loved ones! 20.01.2022 Hey guys, time for another update. Charlie is on the mend. Thank you for all your well wishes and prayers for him. He still has a cough but he is on the mend. Pippa and I now both have this awful bug too. This means that we need to continue to self isolate, and the practice will likely be shut this whole week as well. I will keep you updated if that changes.... There are a few things at play here. Looking after my family has always been my number one priority. But closely following that is the priority of keeping you guys well and not passing on any virus or bug we have, to you! So please bear with me as I am practicing extra caution when it comes to keeping sicknesses contained.

09.01.2022 Over the past few weeks I have had more and more conversations with people about hand sanitiser; its ever-present part of our lives currently, and how for some, it is causing quite a bit of grief. There are those that need to be using hand sanitiser multiple times in an hour, kids are needing to use it at school, and so on. I know some of you are having trouble with your skin as a result, and I know that painful and damaged skin on your hands in particular can be quite troubl...esome. I know some of you are concerned about some of the ingredients in some of the sanitisers available, especially for kids. Given hand sanitiser will likely be a constant for a while yet, it might be time to look into better options. I have been umming and ahhing about whether or not to stock my new favourite hand sanitiser. I figured since sanitiser was EVERYWHERE there probably wouldn't be a need. But turns out, there is a need for a sanitiser that doesn't destroy your hands, doesn't have harmful ingredients, smells nice, and still has 70% ethanol. Thus I bring you Koala Eco (who have a delightful range of products). I seriously dislike using hand sanitiser people. But this stuff, I quite like. No dyes, synthetic perfumes, masking agents, chlorine, bleach, sodium laurel sulphates or phosphates. Plus it smells awesome.... for real. I am going to order some bottles in for anyone who is keen. I have some on my desk so you can definitely have a try of it any time! They will be here soon

09.01.2022 Quick update: the doc up at the hospital has said that Charlie has croup. This means we are no longer required to quarantine. However, croup is still a viral infection and given the close proximity of work and home for me, and in the interest of not sharing it around, I am remaining closed for now. Any virus affecting the respiratory system during this time should be treated with caution. It does, however, mean that you might see myself or Ben doing some grocery shopping from time to time, so please don't freak out if you do we are allowed out of quaratine but we are choosing to self isolate and limit contact for a while longer. I hope that makes sense! Keep well everyone xx

06.01.2022 IMPORTANT UPDATE: Unfortunately, we have had to make the tough decision to close the practice for a while. Our sweet Charlie is pretty sick. Hopefully it is a 'regular' virus and he shakes it in a few days. However, we were told by doctor that they will not test those who have not been travelling or been in contact with someone who has.... As such, all we know is that Charlie has a virus and therefore we are taking extra precautions and putting ourselves into the advised 14 days quaratine. This is by choice, as a public health and safety measure. It is the right thing to do, for everyone. Those of you currently booked in, I will be calling you in due time to rearrange things. The Peppers are bunkering down. For a family built on small businesses, this is a trying time. But you can bet we will come out the other side. I look forward to seeing you all again, hopefully when everything has blown over and normality is restored. Until then... Love your people. Be kind. Stay well

05.01.2022 Happy 4th birthday to us!! This weekend marks 4 years that I have owned the practice and I am so grateful for the wonderful patients I am blessed to care for To celebrate, we upgraded our table cover (which was a bit old!) to something bright and positive The past 4 years have had various ups and downs, but we persevere and grow stronger and stronger!! We will never let anyone dull our shine!!

04.01.2022 Alright lovely people. I have made the decision to close the practice for today (Monday). My little guy is not feeling his best and until I can gauge where he is at, I do not want to run any risks of having you guys here. At the moment we will continue on as normal for the rest of the week, unless there becomes a reason not to. I know this puts some of you out and trust me it's not ideal for me either! But we are all in this together and I want to make sure I am doing my best to keep you all safe. We are living in some crazy times. Love your people. Be grateful for what you have. Wash your hands. And take some time to show someone some kindness xxxx

03.01.2022 Well, we haven't had a sick day since March, but today the practice will be closed so we don't share our bugs with you. Sorry for any inconvenience, we hope to be all sorted come Monday Enjoy this glorious rainy day

02.01.2022 He has started his training early..... might make for a good family business take over one day!! It's been a crazy first 2 weeks back into a new year of adjusting- looking forward to another busy week next week!! Hope you all enjoyed the rain
