25.01.2022 TODAY IS ODD SOCKS DAY 2020. #OSD2020 Grow Australia Here are a few pics of the SW team getting into the spirit of things. Odd Socks Day is Grow's annual anti stigma campign to raise awareness and much needed funds around mental health, by encouaging others to wear their odd socks.... By wearing odd socks, you are showing you are prepared to step up and stamp out the stigma often attached to mental health, especially mental ill-health. As well as, start the often difficult and tough conversations around mental wellbeing with others. DID YOU KNOW, that 1 in 5 Australian's between 16-85 experience a mental health issue every year. To show your support, and to help GROW SOUTH WEST reach their target, please donate via the link below. Donations over $2 are tax deductible and all proceeds go directly to our organisation. We truly thank you all for your kind support, without it, we couldn't do what we do. https://oddsocksday2020.gofundraise.com.au//SOUTHWESTREGION As a region we raised $1,331.00. Thank you all for your support. A big congratulations to Gayle Howkins for winning the raffle, we hope you enjoy your chocolates.

25.01.2022 Hi, I’m Lozz I came to GROW in mid 2019 as a last resort after years of not getting the support I was looking for. For so long I had been judged, misunderstood, put down and I had lost who I was. Since joining GROW, I have made some great friends, started to let my walls down, and am slowly rediscovering myself. I have gained confidence in sharing my personal story, accepting and working through my struggles and working in the region in many different areas. I hope that by sharing part of my journey, it will give you the support and space for you to be open and share part of yours. If you are struggling with/in any part of your life, come along to a SW Grow Group and give it a try. Like me, it may be the thing you have been searching for.

21.01.2022 This past week we farewelled Lozz as she moves on to other things. We thank her for everything she has done over the past year and wish her the very best for the future. Thanks Lozz for making our region a better place and for believing in every one of us. Lozz you have been a driving force behind the work GROW SW has done for the past 12 months and supported Emma in her role in an outstanding and professional manner. Your passion, tenacity, work ethic and compassion for others will follow you forever in what ever you choose to do. You will be missed but look forward to you coming to groups for a visit soon.
