This study included 20,000 participants and covered ALL demographics- young, old, rich and poor - ERVERYONE. Just two hours in nature was deemed the key. 11.01.2022 Recently JAMA conducted a study on cancer prevention with the use organic foods - fruits and vegetables. Overall the results were positive with those who had a higher consumption of organic foods to have a 25% lower risk of cancer. What this study didn't mention or compare was the intake/ consumption of processed foods. Maybe better health lies in an increased consumption or proportionally higher consumption of fruits and vegetables compared to processed foods. Something to think about. 03.01.2022 Food choices don't need to be in line with latest fad diet or eating the new superfood on trend. Keep it simple. Read labels. Know what you're putting into your body. Food is definitely medicine.
02.01.2022 WHAT IS THE DIFFERNCE BEWTEEN A NUTRITIONIST AND A DIETITIAN? I can not speak for a dietitian, because I am not one. Here's what I aim to do: Find the root of the cause. Why else would you come in for a consult? For a band aid like approach? A Nutritionist is more than just creating meal plans for clients. This probably occurs a lot less than you think. Yes, food plays a major role during a consult, but the focus is on the biochemistry that the food you are consuming plays within your body. Is your body absorbing these nutrients properly? Are you in pain? Are uncomfortable before or after meals? Our intestines are a major site for not just nutrient breakdown but nutrient absorption as well. Ensuring that this is effectively working may be the key to better health.

These guys break down the pros and cons to eating within restricted time frames along benefits achieved by the body as well. Intermittent fasting does seem to be one of those 'fad diets' at the moment. Just remember one diet does not suit all.
