24.01.2022 The suite of changes to the ASX Listing Rules, initially introduced on 28 November 2018, will take effect from 1 December 2019. 171 pages of the Listing Rules have been changed and 6 new and 12 updated Guidance Notes have been released. Due to the range of amendments and important changes that will impact all ASX listed companies in the coming period, GRT Lawyers will be releasing regular alerts covering changes to key areas, including: ... 1. admission requirements; 2. company constitutions; 3. issuing securities and placement capacity; 4. notices of meeting and post meeting announcements; 5. quarterly reporting requirements. On Sunday, a large portion of our team competed or assisted in the Noosa Triathlon Multi Sport Festival, raising money for Child's Play Qld - Psychological counselling for children and adolescents. A few weeks ago, Scott Standen presented at the Extending Digital Trust Strategies for Governance briefing. 15.01.2022 Last month, we held a successful half-day workshop at the Governance Institute of Australia on Dealing with the Regulators. Joined by company chairmen, non-executive directors, CEO’s, CFO’s, secretaries and other key management professionals, our team of Lawyers outlined the key steps to be taken when dealing with regulators. Key takeaways from the workshop included a step by step approach on how to best deal with regulators whether that be ASI, ASX, APRA, ACNC, ATO or AUSTRAC. Attendees were shown how to develop and implement their own internal processes, documents and procedures to ensure all their organisation is working legally and ethically together in all dealings with regulators. #GRTlawyers #regulators #legalworkshop
