21.01.2022 Sorry for the confusion guys... We are going to cancel grubs today, the sets are quite dangerous. The committee will hang around on the beach if there are any Regos/questions.... We will look to reschedule another meet in March. Mick

18.01.2022 Hi All Just a reminder the GRUBS AGM is on this Saturday 23rd January 2021 at 10am on the grassed area opposite Umina SLSC As previously advised, none of the current committee members will be continuing on in 2021. All committee positions will be made vacant.... We have had a few parents interested in taking on a position this year but we need several more to take on a role for GRUBS to go ahead. If your interested in taking on a position please come down to the AGM on Saturday or let me know if you can't make it to the AGM but would like to take on a role. Thanks GRUBS Committee

18.01.2022 Morning All I am pleased to announce that we have been able to form a new Committee and GRUBS will be able to go ahead this year. A big thanks to the following parents for stepping up this year in the following positions;... President: Mick Duffy Secretary: Denis Crowdy Treasurer: Contest Director: Kevin Field Judge. Shane Muldowney BBQ: Sonia Bisson Trailer & BBQ: Nathan McEvoy Social Media/ Fundraising: Thanks so much to you all for taking on a position. You will be fabulous! We still need a Treasurer & Social Media person. Neither of these jobs are very time consuming and are more behind the scenes if you can't commit to coming to GRUBS every month. Another Judge or 2 for the heats would be great too. Let me know if your keen. REGISTRATIONS 2021 We will have a registration morning next Saturday 30th January 2021 at 9-11 am at Umina Beach on the grassed area next to the surf club. We will have EFTPOS available and also sample sizes of T Shirts & Rashies to try on. Please contact us if you cant make the rego day and need the registration forms which you can scan and email back and pay by direct debit. With the weather not looking great we will be holding the rego day in the Umina Surf Club upstairs, so come and find us up there.... 11.01.2022 GRUBS AGM The AGM will take place in the grassed area opposite Umina SLSC on Saturday 23rd January 2021 at 10am. All committee positions will be made vacant and we need to fill all positions for GRUBS to go ahead in 2021.... The following committee positions are open. 1. President 2. Secretary 3. Treasurer 4. Contest Director & Judges 5. BBQ Person/s 6. Social Media/Fundraising 7. General Committee If you would like to take on a committee role, please respond to this post or email so that we have an idea of whether we are going to be able to form a committee. We have had a couple of parents express interest in a position but we still need several more to come forward and take on a role. With regards to registration, we need to see if we get a committee formed before we can start taking registrations. If all goes well we can commence registration following the AGM and I can then also email registration forms out. Look forward to seeing lots of parents at the AGM for a new and exciting era of GRUBS.

06.01.2022 Hey all you GRUBS We are going to try and get a ‘make up’ surf in next Sunday 28/03. weather permitting So usual thing if you are keen for heats get down there around 7am and for free surfers be there before 830am... Looking at the upcoming calendar (Easter) April will be in the last week as well... but we’ll send out more details closer. Also we are just finalising the rashie and shirt orders so they should be ready in April. Committe.

04.01.2022 Grubs first meet of the year is this Sunday 7th Feb Heats from 7:15am and free surf from 8:30 Keep an eye on facebook or email in the event that we cannot go ahead due to weather/swell.... You must be registered to participate on the day, so please get your regos in before then, or get there early on the day so you don’t miss any time in the surf. See you on the beach

03.01.2022 Morning all Our final GRUBS meet will be this Sunday 6th December 2020. We will have a fun last surf starting at 830am with a small presentation after on the beach.... So get out your chrissy hats and tinsel and get into the festive spirit. Just a reminder that for GRUBS to go ahead next year we still need a few new committee members to come forward, so if your thinking about it please come up and have a chat.
