25.01.2022 For any community sport to be successful, a group of people who take hours out of their lives need to come together to form a committee . These people often go unnoticed because they are in the background. For Sheridan Tresidder who is not only in the background but a committed player in our team, this year has been full of challenges. ... As a new member of the Cockies Rugby club committee , she has learned how much work goes into forming community sport, even more so this year with the uncertainty of our 2020 season due to COVID-19. She has put in multiple hours each week behind the scenes and on the field all whist juggling a full time job and her family life. On behalf of all of us girls, and our boys, thankyou for all your time and effort! X

22.01.2022 This weekend is ladies day. The girls have New Jersey’s this week. They will be auctioned off after the men’s game. All profits from the auction will go to our local Gloucester breast cancer support group.

22.01.2022 Today was a tough game. Going into today we knew this would be the case, with 4 of our best injured or unable to play, a complete rewiring of our game starting Thursday night to prepare for 40minutes of hard rugby with only 1 sub. Today we can hold our heads up high knowing we gave everything we could. ... We may not have got the win but we have fought through a tough 2020 and did what we could with what we had. This couldn’t have been done with out our coach. Setting the standard for commitment to our season. For many this may just be playing a bit of footy, but for our coach Chris Marchant, it is juggling family, business and general life to be making 2 sessions a week and multiple hours a week behind the scenes just to make 40minutes on the field each Saturday. On behalf of all of us girls, Thankyou for your time and effort.

13.01.2022 TICKETS ARE NOW CLOSED. This Saturday night we are so excited to see you all! We hope everyone is ready to frock up and enjoy a night of celebration. ... As you enter, you will be asked to show your ticket. This will have a QR code on it that will be scanned to check you in. Please make sure you have either a printed copy or electronical copy for us to scan at the door. We have decided not to have designated seating, however due to COVID restrictions we do have a limit of 10 people per table. We ask that everyone is respectful of our new normal re COVID rules, as most of us are aware of what this means now. You should have received an email with your tickets attached, the tickets will look just like this one but with your details on them. ... To Check in, we will scan the QR code that is at the top of your ticket. To present this at check in, you will have 2 options: 1- Print ticket - Have the hard copy of your ticket to be scanned at check in. 2- Electronic Ticket - You can use the emailed ticket you received to be scanned at check in. *Tip - You can screenshot your ticket to have it stored in your photos, instead of having to sift through your emails on arrival.
