14.01.2022 Grummitt Planning are so excited to have been successful in securing planning approval for the first artificial Mini-Snow Park in the heart of Surfers Paradise, here on the Gold Coast. Such an exciting time for Gold Coast Snow Park and look forward to their opening in time for the Easter Holidays and more importantly the Commonwealth games. Get down and support this awesome new adrenaline attraction and hopefully it won't be too long before the main Park also comes to fruition.

05.01.2022 Wondering whether you need planning approval for Air BnB? Logan City Council have just issued an advisory Fact Sheet - Airbnb Accommodation. Where the owner resides IN the house or unit, the use may be defined as 'Home Business'. Where the owner DOES NOT reside in the house or unit, the use may be defined as 'Short Term Accommodation'. Essentially, Airbnb can be classed as a Home Based Business where, a) there are no more than 3 bedrooms used for guests, b) a... car parking space is provided per bedroom; and c) no more than 3 guest vehicles are parked at one time on site. Where not complying with the above requirements, a DA to Council is required. If defined as 'Short Term Accommodation' a DA is generally required in ALL zones.
