11.01.2022 We share milk with our kids meaning we keep the kids on their mums to be raised. We believe this is ethical and the right thing to do by our goats. It also results in strong robust healthy kids. They are drafted off at milking time and mums are milked and returned to mum after milking for the first two weeks after this they will be drafted off at night and they will spend the night in the shed and rejoin mum in the morning after morning milking. This keeps them safe and th...ey start eating big kids feed while mums doing what she needs to do. They are quick at learning this routine.
