22.01.2022 What can we say......this is a humbling thank you from our family to yours x We launched our Adopt a Goat Program and the response has been overwhelming We just can not express our words of gratitude we feel. We’d like to share one of the experiences with you.....we had a Dairy Farmer from Redpa visit the farm last week to purchase some surplus equipment. I proudly showed him around the dairy (incomplete) and he and his family went and met the goats too. Explaining as I ...do what we are wanting to achieve.......our grand vision which thankfully they were just excited and didn’t run for the car, lock the doors and drive away hastily from the crazy goat lady It was absolutely uplifting to hear the words of encouragement the gentleman and his wife shared with me. Sometimes when your feeling deflated and lost you no longer can see what others see. It was the lift I really needed. So the family purchased the equipment and off they went to the field day they were attending. After our announcement of the challenges we were facing we received an encouraging email from the family. Again something they didn’t have to do but took the time to! While balancing the bank account I noted three extra Adopt a Goat payments from the same family that had visited. I flicked a message to query it Yep. Charlotte, pippa and Jobe.........don’t give up we believe in what your doing! So I guess what I wanted to say is THANK YOU for all the words of encouragement, the sms of support, the people that stop us in the street and the smiles on faces.......we are grateful #grumpygoatcocarefarm #carefarmtasmania #animaltherapy #togetherwearestronger #community #givingback #aplacetobelong #meaningfulpurpose #mentalhealthawarness #atriskyouth #assistancedogprogram #equinetherapy #farmprogramsforkids

But services are now availab...le in Australia to provide safe havens for both. The law is also catching up, with recent legislation in NSW and Victoria recognising animal abuse as a form of family violence . These steps, and Amber's inspiring story, provide hope to thousands of women and their pets currently caught in a living hell. https://www.buzzsprout.com/1623115/8272593 See more

06.01.2022 On the lead up to ANZAC Day, we remember the animals that have shown incredible courage like Stubby who located wounded soldiers and warned soldiers of mustard gas in WW1. He served for 18 months in 17 battles.
