23.01.2022 What an amazing way to end the year, congratulations to our team who have designed and manufactured a brand new unit to add to our extensive range of mobile dust collectors - the Grydale JMS-10-MEC. This model was custom designed by our in-house engineering team to provide dust extraction for the excavation of Cross Passages on a major tunneling project. The JMS-10-MEC is powered by 415V Electric and is mounted on caster wheels for ease of mobility in confined spaces. The ...75kW centrifugal fan is capable of pulling 10m3/s at -4.5kPa through the 600mm diameter air intake. The filter house contains 12 high efficiency filters with a reverse pulse cleaning system. The WEG 415V Variable Speed Drive allows power consumption to be minimised during construction works. The size of this unit was designed to meet site space constraints. The added benefit is that we can easily transport this unit internationally within a 40ft container. Key dimensions: - 5440mm long (including the rear auger discharge) - 1750mm wide - 2890mm high Although designed for tunnel cross passages we believe this compact unit will be of interest for other industrial applications. 18.01.2022 Introducing the latest addition to the Grydale Rental fleet - a Grydale 3rd generation JMS-20-MDT. A 90kW Centrifugal Fan is mounted on a compact track base to produce 20m3/s and is powered by a T4 Volvo Penta Diesel engine. Key enhancements to this 3rd generation unit include: ... - fuel level sensors, lights and alarms - proximity sensors with follow function - new fan coupling - dual pressurized hydraulic tanks - engine safety bracing - improved safety systems - easier maintenance set up - reversed auger orientation (to allow heavy particles to be discharged under the machine instead of at the front). Our engineering team have also managed to reduce the overall footprint of this already compact unit to 3300mm wide by 6600mm long and 3750mm high.
