A lista inclui um livro da Clarice Lispector, escritora brasileira que comeou sua carreira como tradutora de textos cientficos para revistas e cujos livros j foram traduzidos para mais de 10 idiomas. O dia 30 de setembro foi escolhido para celebrar a data devido à morte de São Jerônimo, tradutor da Bíblia do grego antigo e do hebraico para o latim. Ele é conhecido como o padroeiro dos tradutores. O momento em que vivemos destaca ainda mais a importância dos tradutores para que todos tenham acesso a informações essenciais. Today we commemorate International Translation Day.... The date of 30 September was chosen to commemorate the day due to the death of Saint Jerome, translator of the Bible from Ancient Greek and Hebrew to Latin. 13.01.2022 Today and tomorrow I will be "attending" the AUSIT 2020 National Conference. The Conference was supposed to be held in Perth this year, but COVID-19 had other plans for us and it is now being held online. I am still very excited to learn a bit more about the translation and interpreting fields and to meet new colleagues. Hoje e amanhã vou participar da Conferência Nacional da AUSIT 2020. A Conferência seria realizada em Perth este ano, mas a COVID-19 tinha outros planos para nós e agora ela será on-line. Mesmo assim estou animada para aprender um pouco mais sobre as áreas tradução e interpretação e para conhecer novos colegas de profissão.

No momento estou traduzindo um material que vai auxiliar os profissionais de sade a melhorar a qualidade dos registros civis e estatsticas vitais. Esse trabalho auxiliar na criao de polticas pblicas para a sade no Brasil. Essa cooperao entre pases que falam lnguas diferentes no seria possvel sem o trabalho do tradutor. At the moment I am translating some material that will assist health professionals to improve the quality of the civil registry and vital statistics. This work will assist in the creation of public policies in the health sector in Brazil. This cooperation between countries that speak different languages would not be possible without translators. 03.01.2022 Voc sabe o que a NAATI? a entidade que credencia tradutores e intrpretes na Austrlia. Para ser um tradutor certificado no pas, o tradutor precisa passar no teste aplicado pela entidade de forma a assegurar a qualidade das tradues oficiais. O teste inclui a traduo de textos e questes discursivas a respeito dos princpios de tica que se aplicam rea de traduo. Do you know what is NAATI? It is the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters in Australia. To be a certified translator in the country, the translator needs to pass the test applied by the authority in order to ensure the quality of official translations. The test includes the translation of texts and questions regarding the ehtical principles applicable to the translation field.
