25.01.2022 INFORMATION FOR SUNDAY Registration for training is no longer required as we have been managing to fit within the restricted numbers allowed on the ground. However, postcodes will still be checked at the gate and numbers tallied to make sure we do not exceed numbers. ... There will be a SHOW CLASS again at 12.30.

19.01.2022 A reminder that while all GSDCV members are welcome to train at our Branch, we unfortunately CANNOT accept anyone who lives in the lock down areas. We will be be vigilant in enforcing this.

18.01.2022 It is with sadness that today we said goodbye to one of our branch members and instructor. Desma Dickeson passed away on the 02/11/2020 and will be missed by all at the Geelong Branch as well as the GSDCV in general. Our thoughts are with her family and friends today.

17.01.2022 WE'RE BACK! Sunday 27th September IMPORTANT We can only accept members who live in a NON COVID lockdown suburb. We will be checking this on entry to the grounds.... PUPPY, CLASS 1, LIMITED SHOW ONLY AT THIS STAGE As we progress, we will re-introduce other classes. We are required to comply with strict Council rules regarding numbers permitted on the ground at any time. Only persons handling a dog are permitted to be on the ground. Other family members must remain in their car. Members must leave the ground when their class is finished. Masks must be worn Club rooms and canteen will not be open. Please note the following class times: PUPPY A (8-16 weeks) 10 am - 10.30 am PUPPY B (16 weeks - 6 months) 10.45 am - 11.15 am Class 1 (over 6 months) 11am - 11.45 am Show class - socialisation only 12 pm

17.01.2022 Hi All As a result of Stage 3 restrictions being reinstated in regional Victoria, we have been forced to suspend our training program again. It is expected that the closure will last for at least 6 weeks, but we will monitor the situation and re-open as soon as we possibly can within the Government rules. Same as last time our members will still be able to purchase Royal Canin and equipment. Please send us a message via facebook so we can try to arrange pickup. Or alternati...vely dog food can be collected anytime from Highton, contact Simon on to 0425 795 492, to arrange a time. Your Instructors will remain contactable throughout the closure for any advice that you need about training and the welfare of your dog. If you have any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to contact the Branch Manager.

13.01.2022 TRAINING TIMES Training will remain the same for the remainder of this year as follows: Class 2-4 10am Puppy A 10am Puppy B 10.45... Class 1 11am. Please contact our Branch Manager to confirm SHOW TRAINING is running. Masks are no longer required while outdoors, but the 1.5 metre rule still applies.

Please PM Jeanne by COB Friday with the following details: ... Full Name Dogs name Email address Class type - Puppy A, Puppy B or Class 1 Membership status - those who are not yet members will be sent information by email to help get started on Sunday. Registered attendees will be prioritised if numbers attending exceed permitted numbers. There will be NO show class this Sunday. You can still purchase Royal Canin dog food and training equipment by EFTPOS at the Branch.

01.01.2022 TRAINING THIS SUNDAY Class times remain the same as previously posted, however we are now offering Classes 2-4 combined starting at 10am. There is no show class.... Anyone wanting to train on Sunday and each Sunday going forward until further notice, must register with the Branch. Registration is required by 5pm Friday. No late registrations will be accepted. Anyone who has not registered will be turned away from the grounds. Only those in non lockdown suburbs can attend. To register, send your full name, name of handler, dog's name and class by message to the Branch. We have put these processes in place to manage class numbers to comply with Government and Council requirements. Please arrive AT LEAST 15 minutes prior to your class, so that you can be checked in and settle your dog prior to class. ROYAL CANIN DOG FOOD AND TRAINING EQUIPMENT IS AVAILABLE FOR SALE
