25.01.2022 Well what a beautiful night for a g-spit bbq. Wood fire chicken maryland, King George Whiting fillet skewers, sweet potato and artichokes....a few beers and some Johnny Cash tunes. First time we did whiting skewers over open fire, my new favourite way to cook them ...superb



24.01.2022 Spoil yourself and visit Joanne and her families newly built store, there's nothing like it....opens tomorrow. The best fruit & veg, smallgoods, meals, cheeses, fresh bread, Joanna's Natural spices etc etc. A real shopping experience for you food lovers. I really love the display of big nonno's old tools from his shed he used on the farm.

22.01.2022 As some of you are aware Joanna has been making ready made meals with great success at her families fruit shop - Hollywood Fresh. The shop is now going through a major renevations and Joanna's Kitchen will be a stand alone business inside, selling freshly cooked meals, salads and desserts which will include some of G-SPIT Caterings favourites. 17.01.2022 Todays opening at Joanna's Kitchen was extremely busy but I did manage to sneak a plate of hand made gnocchi upon my visit. However if your a tiramisu fan I really recommend it....addictive. When Joanne makes a big tray at home, me and the kids polish it all off the same night. For me, one of her signature desserts since we met.

14.01.2022 In life you always gotta be ready for an EMERGENCY. Today they had a slab party across the road for the tradies and their bbq was to small. Quick thinking I pulled out the G-Spit, quickly lit some wood, managed to season their meat and cooked on my front lawn. The day was saved as no one had to wait for their food. I packed up and drifted back into the horizon like nothing happened.

12.01.2022 RIP Maradona. You were my soccer idol as a teenager and still are. A magician like no other player....thank you for the entertainment and enjoyment you gave us on the soccer field. You were also a fine Argentinean Asado (bbqer).

07.01.2022 Hi Friends, Got a question if you could be honest by typing yes or no....or whatever you like. Doing our spice range for USA market and thinking of changing the brand name. Do you like the brand name FIT FOOD SPICES? Would that appeal to you? Still with 100% Natural Seasonings. IF NO CAN YOU THINK OF A GOOD NAME? If we use it I will give you a set of spices.

06.01.2022 Here's the steps for those that text me. Seasoned with Joanna's Classic Spice and also back rib is with a new seasoning we developed. Add a bit of water and cover with baking paper then foil. In the wood oven or kitchen oven at 150 degrees for about 3 hours or until tender. Take foil off last 20 mins and place back in oven to crisp the fat. Or you can cook them on the G-Spit with grill up highest level for 2 hours approx.

04.01.2022 Quick Friday Night Dinner... In under 30 minutes Joanne whipped all this up. Lamb seasoned with Joanna's Mediterranean Spice, hommus with a mint pesto. You don't have to spend much preparation time in the kitchen for a good feed.
