13.01.2022 We thought it would be a good idea knock out some homebrew so we could try out the carbonating abilities of the GrowlerWerks 64Oz Stainless Steel uKeg. Our first batch was a Coopers DIY Beer Pale Ale, we let it brew for around 7 days as it was little cooler than recommended, we then filled the uKeg and pressured it up to 15psi using the inbuilt Co2 system. Two days later we've just poured a nicely carbonated brew that sure beats waiting 14 days for bottle conditioning to oc...cur, and the uKeg is way sexier than the horrid PET bottles supplied with the DIY kit! I hope the good guys at Mudgee Brewing Co. can forgive us for filling one of their glasses with something other than the local produce! The Growlerwerks uKegs are available from our website now and we'll deliver anywhere in Oz freight free, so with the 'rona restrictions easing, grab one now and head to your local brewer for a fill.
