25.01.2022 A book to look out for: 'Geography is the big-picture subject for our times. It encompasses subjects ranging from the microscopic how soils form, and how those soils can be protected and managed well to grow food, for example through to things as large-scale as the future trajectory of megacities and the threat of ever more warming of the planet.' UK focused but applicable worldwide.

25.01.2022 Annual Conference Update It is with great disappointment that I announce the cancellation of the 2020 Annual Conference. Uncertainties surrounding events for large groups and high levels of demand and stress facing teachers and school resources have informed this decision. A date in early term 2 is under investigation and it is hoped that much of the program planned for 2020 will transfer to 2021... pending the availability of presenters. Presenters, exhibitors, sponsors and ...members will be emailed with more details. In the interim, GTANSW & ACT are investigating potential online activities for Term 4 with a focus on planning for 2021. Conference Convenor Lorraine Chaffer
