The vehicle seemed to have changed shades, a much lighter champagne colour appeared after removing layers of aged paintwork and damage. 21.01.2022 Clay bar is an often misunderstood concept that benefits paint greatly and sets the car up for detailing to come! Enhancing the paints reflective capability, it will make gloss enhancements much more effective as it gives a nice glassy surface to operate on! On the right you can see the customers car with a clay bar treated surface, you can tell by the smooth, quiet motions that the surface has been decontaminated of all the invisible road grime and industrial filament that i...s picked up by your car daily! The left is the untreated surface, notice how it sounds like sandpaper? it felt like it too! This kind of surface is a result of driving around trucks, or industrial parks and even around most other cars where brake dust and road grime can flick up, mostly occurring on freeways and heavy, dirty areas where factories and more commercial grade road users are found.
