25.01.2022 Hello Footy Family! We are all missing our footy at the moment, and especially missing our mates. To help us all feel a little bit more connected we invite parents, volunteers, and players to join in on creating a pass it on video. Dress up in your Saints gear, and pass the footy on. Extra points for being creative! Video and send through to our Facebook page via private message by Saturday to join in on the fun. ... Dont know what a pass it on video is? Your kids will!

25.01.2022 Is your child moving on to another club for the 2020 season? Please let us know as it will help us to start actioning refunds and transfers of Ticket to Play vouchers. The committee is working very hard to sort refunds ASAP. We appreciate your patience as we negotiate our way through this. Please message through any questions to the junior football page rather than messaging individual committee members. This will help to make sure we can keep track of all requests and ensure you are getting the most up to date and accurate information.

23.01.2022 Go Saints! Some news from the Junior Club about how we are supporting the community while we are all under the pump from COVID-19. Keep your eyes on our page in the coming weeks as we share more information.

23.01.2022 A huge well done to GTJFC players Karlee Wayne, Finny Cross and Zorana Hardwick who along with Mackayla McMullan represented George Town at the WAFL gala day today. It was great to see the club colours worn proudly, and even better to see all four of the George Town girls selected within the most valuable players of the tournament. The future of women’s footy is shining brightly. Well done girls!

21.01.2022 Junior Football = the most affordable junior sport in town. At GTJFC we know that many families find the costs of kids sport a bit of a barrier. Its why year after year we focus on keeping your rego costs down, and this year are including in your rego fees a pair of playing shorts and socks so that there are no uniform costs, making it even easier for families to afford. We also offer family discounts on rego, and for the first time are introducing family discounts on our ...optional merchandise and clothing. With Ticket To Play (follow the link to see if youre eligible), you can be playing footy for your local club and wearing Saints colours proudly for as little as $30! Join the Saints the season https://www.communities.tas.gov.au//information-for-parent

20.01.2022 Keep the registrations coming. Please note, the sibling discount is currently not working. I am working on fixing this issue. You don't have to wait for this to be fixed to register, at the end click on pay later

12.01.2022 THANKYOU to the GT Football Club who has kindly offered their club rooms as our sewing space for Sunday 19th Jan at 10am-3pm for our sewing bee for the fires. W...e had planned to make some cooling neck ties, but there is a bit of controversy at the moment. If we get the go ahead by then, we will be making those also. But we will be making Joey Pouches in medium, medium/large and large. You do NOT have to sew to help out. We need people to label, pack, cut out, iron and various non sewing jobs. All is welcome, so please consider. If you would like to donate: XL pre-paid express or regular satchels from Australia Post. Fabrics MUST be natural fibres, no glitter or plastic. It is preferred - flannelette/quilting cotton or tightly woven linen fabrics. If you have a flannelette sheet in good condition that would be perfect. We will happily accept cash donations which we will use towards these items. If there are any proceeds left, we will donate it towards the Fire appeal. You can drop your donations off at Patchworks Plus, 14 Anne Street (closed Mondays). What to bring - Fabric needed for the Joey Pouches are - 30cm/35cm/40cm x WOF which will make a pouch outer or lining. Each pouch needs at least 2 linings. Fat Quarters are suitable, it will just be a bit more creative Sewing Machine and regular sewing supplies. Fabric scissors Fabric marking pen (Air would be great) and chalk pencil All labelled with your name. Power board While we will have coffee/tea making facilities available, you will need to bring your own lunch We hope to see you there :)

03.01.2022 If your child is going to another club for the 2020 season and you hadn't already registered them with us, you can use this link on this post to get them registered. You are not required to pay any fees when registering with us but may need to for the hosting club. Once registered with us, the hosting club will then put through a request for a level 2 permit so they can play with them.

03.01.2022 At this stage there will be no training or playing footy till 31st May. The NTJFA have adopted the afl policy and has sent it to all clubs to read and agree or disagree,as predicted all clubs unanimously agreed that this is the best but more importantly safest course of action to take at this stage. I know there will be a lot disappointed young sainters as the committee is, but as President and the committee as a collective is and always will put your safety and the safety... of your family as our number 1 priority. If anyone has any questions or any kids want some advice on how best to keep the mind and body ready for footy give me a call. It is also important that coaches keep communicating with players whether it be via social media or another outlet because we still need to stick together and stay focused on the season ahead Thanks Rob Crane President 0467657849
