25.01.2022 This is Sarah (@_sarahelyse ) completing a set of glute thrusts at 100kgs. Sarah's first experience with programming consisted of exercises that were both achievable as well as enjoyable. This is week 5 of her first ever training block and has been loving the process. We decided to implement the glute thrust as we can easily overload this lift, allowing us to capitalise on glute strength and hypertrophy as we progress towards other barbell based mov...ements. Our goal for Sarah is to understand the concept of the 'hip hinge' prior adding deadlifts into her program, something that will be coming up very soon! Sarah is also understanding the concept of meal frequency and macro quality, whilst undergoing a caloric deficit and has been seeing many great things coming from it. Get around this weapon! #GTStrength See more

06.01.2022 Forever grateful for the opportunities to learn off some of the some of the best coaches in our industry! As coaches and PT's we are encouraged to keep up to date in new topics, thus furthering our knowledge and applying it to our current craft. The @melbournestrengthculture Congress for 2019, did just that. From emphasising the importance of culture, all the way up to the 'blunders' which every aspiring fitness business owner may come across, the Strength Culture Congress covered many challenging, yet interesting concepts. (I am levitating with new facts and knowledge to tell my clients for the coming weeks...) Long story short - it was a good time with some good people; excited for next year!

05.01.2022 Im not going to lie, choosing the photos for my first post was both difficult and surprisingly time consuming What is the difference between these two photos? Only a couple of things. 1. 16.6kgs to be exact. I walked into my first gym at 16 years old at 50kgs on the dot. The second photo was around the same time frame; I was younger, skinnier and had an overdone hairstyle. 2. I hired a coach and surrounded myself amongst people who brought immense support (emphasis on... that word) to my growth as a competing powerlifter and towards my overall development. 3. I now have a team of clients who make up what I call 'GT Strength'; I get to lead by example and emphasise the benefits of structured training and get to see a lot of happy people through it. This page is to highlight what GT Strength is all about; its community and the achievements that lie within that. #GTStrength
