They may have met in Australia, but they are determined to create exceptional wine in New Zealand. 14.01.2022 Out for Australia is a wonderful and important organisation bringing support, mentorship and leadership to LGBTQIA+ professionals in the workplace. Their first face-to-face event of the year is taking place in Melbourne on 19 April. Audience members will hear from a diverse panel of industry professionals, including Ben Mullen of Mulline Vintners and Lucy Kendall of Vino Idda, as they share their personal experiences on what it’s like to be a LGBTQIA+ in Australia’s wine industry.

05.01.2022 In recent wine news Announced yesterday by KPMG and Colliers International, Calabria Family Wines have announced their purchase of McWilliam's Wines. Calabria, based in the Riverina and Barossa Valley, will be taking ownership of the McWilliam’s brands, including the Hanwood vineyard, winery and cellar door. The McWilliam’s brand was established in 1877, a pioneer in the Australian wine industry. The two families have had a close relationship stretching back many years, both sharing a love for the local Griffith region and its winemaking history. It is a great honour for our family to become the proud custodians of Australian winemaking history with the purchase of McWilliam’s Wines says Michael Calabria, third-generation General Manager.
