22.01.2022 I'm glad that one is over! A bathroom renovation I completed before Xmas. We had to cut up the slab and run new drains as the existing drains were non compliant. She came up alright. Give Guardian Plumbing and Gas Services a call on 1300 138 973 if you are looking at renovating your bathroom, kitchen or laundry.
21.01.2022 Pulled some good roots from this stormwater drain today! The new Blade cutter from @melbournejetter was a handy bit of kit to add to the arsenal! Blocked Drains? Give Guardian Plumbing and Gas Services a call on 1300 138 973.

12.01.2022 A ducted heater replacement that we completed. The initial pressure test of the gas line failed. We found that the steel pipe had rusted through underground. We ran a new copper line and had them back up and running the same day.

10.01.2022 A nice little gas line renewal that we completed yesterday. The existing line was leaking somewhere under the concrete. We managed to re-route the pipe and eliminate the old galv pipe.
09.01.2022 This client had issues with flooding when it rained. We found that one side of the house was running from 90mm into a single 75mm stormwater pipe... We rectified this by installing a new 100mm stormy line.
06.01.2022 A bit of a spreader upgrade... The clients gutters were overflowing in heavy rain below that poor excuse for a spreader. Always pays to use a licensed tradesman, remember you can always ask to see their identification card!
05.01.2022 Helping the lads out at @craft_six_ today with some building defects. The original plumbers missed a hose tap in one of the courtyards and installed the basins to close to the wall. This was causing the residents to bang their heads on the cabinetry above whilst brushing their teeth... Thanks to Alex at @awsurfacerepairs for the referral. If you have any surfaces around the home that need repairing check him out, he's a gun.
04.01.2022 A hot water service changeover in Camberwell today, aswel as tidying up the pipework. I see alot of posts where plumbers have literally pulled the old unit and chucked the new unit in. No tidying up of rough pipework or replacing valves, no pride in their work! I believe a new installation should look like a new installation. We installed a Therman 170L natural gas cylinder, replaced the valves and pipework and cut a drain into the downpipe so that the PTR valve was no longer discharging under the house.
02.01.2022 After exposing the original sump we worked out it was two wheelie bins pushed inside of each other.... We dug it out, installed a new Polycrete pit and replaced the pump.
