23.01.2022 Its time to talk Lactose Intolerance & how its effecting not only your skin This is a common conversation we have with our clients suffering from inflammatory skin flare-ups & the common links involved. Dairy Intolerance is when your body is reacting adversely to dairy products such as milk, butter, yoghurt, cheese etc many of which are in our western diet. All animal milk contains a natural sugar Lactose along with proteins. These can vary in different level...s from product to product & how we react. Oh hey, Lactose- This naturally occurring sugar found in milk & many other products is broken down by the natural enzyme Lactase which prepares the product for absorption. If your body isnt producing lactase then Lactose isnt able to be broken down then travelling down to the large intestine where it can cause irritation/inflammation as it is fermented by bacteria in our gut Symptoms associated with poor breakdown of lactose is bloating, respiratory symptoms, acne, diffused redness, cramps & so on. Yes I have 5 different names, but we love to be a bit extra. I’m just wanting to come on here and share with you all just some things about me, and to have a little get to know know me gig. As you know, the hair and beauty industry has been out of action for a few weeks but we are slowly heading back into full force over the next coming days. So what a great time, and a great opportunity for new beginnings and a chance for me to tell you guys about myself. I’m in my 3rd year of my Apprenticeship Qualifying next year My favourite things to do in salon is, obviously have a good chat, (I will talk your ear off) men’s cutting & styling, balayage, natural highlighting and creating big messy fun textured hair I live at home in Mornington with my parents and my dog Bijou I am a crazy dog person I come from a family full of hair dressers... and hairdressing was not my first choice in career I love crime documentaries Red wine & cheese are the loves of my life You’ll never see me wear another colour other then black, even outside of work My favourite movie is the Wedding Singer, I love the 80s I have a boyfriend, he is amazing, honestly can’t put into words how grateful I am to have him by my side. He is shy and a chill person, so I won’t talk too much about him Summer is my favourite season, I love those hot hot days Gemini baby I come from Greek background I love to go to festivals, concerts, and watch live music I like to think I’m a killer on the dance floor Love a party I genuinely love what I do for work I feel so blessed to have a job that I love and be supported by an amazing team at Guava.
