To kick off the Christmas season, we’re holding a festive fundraising event, with 30 stalls offering a variety of beautiful handmade products, dog accessories, plants, sweet treats, Guide Dogs Tasmania merchandise, and lots more) When: 6th December, 10:00am 2:00pm... Thank you so very much to our volunteers who lent a paw or two for the day, and to each and everyone of you who donated and/or bought some merchandise. You're making a real difference, and we simply couldn't do what we do without out you. Now, on to the washing. Wonder if this is something one of the dogs in training could manage... ... 03.01.2022 Join the movement this Thursday, and celebrate International Day of People with Disability at a brand new performing arts festival Kinetic Hobart! Developed by City of Hobart, VisAbility Tasmania, Inclusive Creatives and Hype tv, this unique festival will include a series of events across Hobart that celebrates the energy of inclusion through performance. Capture your hula-hooping skills, dancing, singing, juggling or poetry reading on video / photo and share them with Kinet...ic Hobart to see your performance on the big screen! A Roving TV will be calling into key CBD busking sites, so you can stay Covid-safe but still watch bands, dance troupes, and an Auslan comedian. This Thursday, let’s increase awareness, understanding and acceptance of people living with disability, and celebrate their achievements and contributions.
