22.01.2022 Why I love being an Australian- in response to the article in the courier mail about the bushfires "locals in tinnies came to the rescue of wallabies, kangaroos... and bandicoots as the animals leapt into the water of Lake Macquarie in desperate attempts to escape a fire". Not to mention all the volunteer firies risking your lives. God bless you wonderful people. It is in disaster that the Aussie spirit shines brightest. NSW continues to be in our prayers today.
