19.01.2022 When the amount of Notes makes sense and every micro bend adds to the feel.He began playing when he was 3 on an old classical guitar that was laying around the house. His dad played about 6 chords, which he showed the young Guthrie. His first chord was a "D".. By the time he was 5 he was playing old Elvis rock and roll for his Dads mates. When he entered school his class mates couldn't believe he didn't know the rules of football, but could play guitar pretty well. Which Guthrie thought all kids his age could do.
19.01.2022 Brand new Blackstar Acoustic amp.... 60 watt or 120watt models.... They look interesting. The thing about this short demo is that all of the EQ is set flat and 7 guitars are put through it.... It is amazing how various brand guitars sound.. The amp does have a very flexible Reverb section.... 2 full channels, Blue tooth, USB out and D.I out................
19.01.2022 No guitars to repair, No gigs... So here is an easy alternate tuning to play with in Isolation... This is DAD DAD. That's right. Drop D on the top and bottom 3 strings. I'm using 12-53 and just lowering every thing. May be of interest...Just some ideas. Plus it's getting near DADs day. Enjoy......

10.01.2022 Not a lot Happening....Not a lot of Guitarists working so there's not a lot of demand for set ups and repairs. So here is a little bit of info on the newer process of spraying guitars...A lot of people will have heard of powder coat, usually on metal products..But with advance's in technology. The same process can be used on timber.....The short Video is of the Taylor Factory. But this is now creeping into main stream guitar manufacturers. In China one of the most modern fact...ories is the Shadow Facility.... Shadow may not come to mind immediately, You may remember them as a German Pickup company. This is the Same company, but they build not only their own guitars but a lot of top brands.....So why Electrostatic spraying ? Very little waste or over spray. The paint is attracted to all of the parts of a guitar with an even coat Here is the Biggy ! The body is covered with 6 Micron of finish and requires no buffing or polishing... A little while through the U.V dryer and the finish is rock hard and Glassy. Less overall time equals Cheaper pricing and more profit.....Cheers See more
