15.01.2022 Hi All! We can accept bookings for people in our area for recreational travel! If you live within a 500km radius of Carpentaria Shire you can come and stay, and as of tomorrow there is no need for a permit. From June 12 Recreational travel within the outback, if you live in the outback, will be allowed.... We hoping everyone is staying safe and well and we’re excited to finally be able to see some familiar faces. Hopefully not long till you can all make it to Karumba! We will be sure to update you all on any changes. Beck

13.01.2022 Hi Everyone, As some of you may have heard, as of the coming Monday, Karumba and Normanton are on lockdown meaning all access is restricted. At the moment it is uncertain how long this lockdown will last but we have been told to prepare for up to 5 months. As we are updated on the situation we will be posting on Facebook to keep everyone in the loop.... In the next couple of days we are working through ringing everyone with bookings arriving in the next couple of months. If you are one of these people please give us a bit of time to contact you. If you have any questions feel free to contact us via phone, email or direct message. Stay safe and fingers crossed we will see you all soon. P.S. The fishing has been good, so at least we’ll all have something to do!!
