22.01.2022 Gulgong Markets are held tomorrow in Coronation Park, Mayne Street, Gulgong starting at 8.00 am and finishing around 1.00 pm. Come and browse along the stalls, listen to local musicians Ross Kurtz and friends and enjoy the beautiful market atmosphere. Our collected stall fees for the day will go to Paola one of our loyal stall holders who lost her family house in the recent fires. We wish her all the best and like to help her, showing Paola that this matters to us . So come along to the markets towmorrow and show that Gulgong cares. Private donations are also welcome. A little help can go a long way!

21.01.2022 Another beautiful day at the Gulgong Markets with blue sky , sunshine, lovely people and lots of lively music. It had such a positive atmosphere especially aft...er the rain we had lately. We collected the stall fees and everyone was happy to donate the money to assist Dave and Cathy Hendersons family with the medical expenses . What a great way to help someone in the community. 18.01.2022 Due to concerns about interacting with people the markets may not be on. We will keep you updated on happenings of the Gulgong Markets. There is nothing we can do than to accept decisions made until it is right again. This is in the best interest of community safety. In the end this will make us stronger and will get us over this difficult time quicker. Thank you for your understanding. xxx

17.01.2022 The Gulgong Markets have been in discussion with delegates from the Mid Western Regional Council and after further investigating health regulations, it has been decided for the health of our friends, neigbours and visitors to again postpone our monthly markets. We are disappointed but we may need more time and thought to go ahead and to come up with new and innovative ways to make our markets safe and friendly again. watch this spce and hopefully we see you soon.

In times like this it is so importend to know that in time we can come together again , catch up with family, friends and neighbors and enjoy the quaint and quirky atmosphere at the markets, listen to life music and browse along the market stalls.. 05.01.2022 Dry canning They are starting to seal, pop, pop, pop. This is the easiest preservation Ive ever done. Sterilize lids, rings and jars. Preheat oven to 250.... Fill jars with dried food. Place in oven for 1 hour. Remove one at a time, wipe top of jar with a damp cloth, put on lid and ring. Hand tighten ring. Transfer to table or area spread with towel or heat mat to cool. Storing flour, pasta, beans, rice and coffee beans. This also eliminates any bugs or worms getting into your food. Ive read it this will preserve for up to 25 years.

03.01.2022 The Gulgong Pixters have folded their market stall. Alan has been with us from the beginning on. Thank you so much Alan for all the input as a stall holder for the $ 10 circus of the Gulgong Public School and for the Gulgong Pixters. You have helped to make lots of memories for so many people and we greatly appreciate this. Without you the markets wouldnt be such a success. We wish you for your future all the best and hope to see you as a visitor often. Again thank you Alan for all you did over the years. You will be missed by stall holders, locals and visitors and if you ever change your mind you are welcome to come back!!
