25.01.2022 Game at Collingullie Crossroads Sunday 23/8/2020 Hi everyone. We are still playing tomorrow at this stage. If you are choosing not to play please let your manager or coach know now.(Thank you). Council haven't cancelled the game at this stage and because we have such a short season which is nearly finished we are leaving it till as late as possible for the clubs to cancel.... 19.01.2022 TRAINING CANCELLED. The weather prediction isn't looking good for this afternoon so we've made a call to cancel. Newsletter will be handed out on the weekend. We'll also email it out. Below is the presidents report. PRESIDENTS REPORT: We ventured out of town for the first time this year with our games at Ganmain for netball and football with our 14s playing there game at North Wagga. We had four games of netball and three games of football on display. Well done to all the mum...s and dads that made the effort to provide their children with a game. In a very unusual and difficult time we all must remember we are so lucky to be able to play sport when so many other organisations are shut down. This is a very good time to reinforce that playing sport is such a wonderful thing for our kids to enjoy. While winning is an important part of our children's sport we need to reflect that playing and having fun with their friends is just as important. This week we head out to Crossroads Oval at Collingullie to play Turvey Park. A great chance for our players to experience playing at our senior’s home ground. See you all at the game. 11.01.2022 Due to the cold and wet weather tomorrow morning we have taken the decision to cancel Auskick rookies and pros against North wagga. At this point all other grades will be playing as normal. Just the Auskick rookies at 8.45 and pros at 9.23 are cancelled. If your child usually plays up in under 10s after their pros game, I'm sure they will be welcome and required tomorrow... Thanks Justin

04.01.2022 Dear CGPJFNC members. Harry Perryman (currently a GWS player) and Matt Kennedy (currently a Carlton player) are home at the moment and would like to give our Juniors a chance to meet them. They both grew up with Collingullie Juniors and it means a lot to them to meet our kids. They are happy to sign things that you bring down for them (netball, footy, hat, clothing, a photo etc). They’ll answer questions and are happy to be in photos. This is a great opportunity for our footballers and netballers. This is for members and their families only. Please understand we will be using photos and video footage for all our media. We will meet them on Monday at 6pm at the Glenfield oval. Your coach may have contacted you already. See you Monday. IMPORTANT to still follow covid guidelines.

02.01.2022 IMPORTANT NEWS Hi Everyone, NSW Chief Health Officer, Dr Kerry Chant, issued a letter to the sport and recreation sector recommending a tightening of restrictions aimed at minimising the risk of COVID-19 transmission in community sport.... The AFL has been in contact in regards to what it means for Junior footy and at this stage one of the key restrictions is limiting junior sport spectators to one parent per child where possible. CGPJFNC would love to see our families adopt this ruling so we can ensure we continue to provide a safe environment for our kids and also ensure that we finish our season. The AFL are also clarifying how the travel restrictions impact our local junior and senior competitions. 01.01.2022 Football and netball update. There will be NO Auskick. 11’s and 14’s are playing at the scheduled times. All netball is on but please check face book in the morning to see if the 9’s are playing. We will do a post between 7.30-8 if they are not playing.

01.01.2022 Last night the u15 girls were presented with their team singlet. Many thanks to the parents who began them with the club years ago. You've watched them grow into great netballers but not only that you've watched them be part of a club. They've formed friendships, gone on to learn skills in coaching and umpiring. They scored, set up, packed away, helped in the canteen,looked out for the younger ones and each other. Congratulations to you all, we hope to see you continue netball in to the future with the senior club.
