It was a beautiful day and the kids enjoyed playing outside, getting their faces painted by the wonderful Bec Monique Face and body Art and meeting our lovely teachers. Special thanks to Jellis Craig Manningham for supporting us by providing the great open day event boards. 23.01.2022 Tonight is our Currawong bush family social night from 6pm to 8pm. There will be a fun nature hunt and a night time Bush walk (dont forget to bring your torches and wear gumboots!). There will be a sausage sizzle and drinks available. Well see you there!

15.01.2022 To our Gum Nut Gully families, We would like to advise that, in line with school closures in Victoria, Gum Nut Gully Preschool will be bringing term break forward and starting holidays as of tomorrow. The Committee of Management, in consultation with staff, have made a unanimous decision to close the centre early in an attempt to help stop the spread of Covid-19 within our community. At this point in time the Department of Education and Training have not made a decision about... when term 2 will commence, and will await further direction from Victorias Chief Health Officer. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your understanding and support of our preschool during this unprecedented event. In addition, we would like to thank our amazing group of educators who have worked closely with families and children as this event has unfolded, and have supported children in helping them to understand what is happening in the world around them. Educators will be on hand at the preschool tomorrow cleaning and disinfecting the equipment so as to ensure our children will return to a safe, protected environment. For the meantime, we wish everyone a safe and healthy break and we look forward to seeing all our wonderful friends and families again in Term 2.
