23.01.2022 The weather over the last few days has been ordinary but not as bad as was forecast. A couple of vintage vans joined us anyway ( we cancelled the planned event due to the forecast) and we made the most of George's Garage to have some fun. It's been a great weekend.

19.01.2022 We've had a busy few weeks with lots of visitors. We've met some great people, and many have been out enjoying Howard and surrounds. Many nights have been spent around the camp fire. We've christened George's Garage ( although it's not quite finished ) and we're looking forward to spending some time in there with guests.

16.01.2022 Our guests enjoyed pizzas at happy hour yesterday. Everyone introduced themselves, some lovely stories told, one couple were recently married, it was just great. Thanks to all our guests for choosing to stay with us, particularly members of the Ladybird club We just love our little patch of paradise and meeting people. All that's missing is some rain

16.01.2022 One of our biggest joys about our previous life in our tourist park, was seeing so many kids grow up. Many families visited us often. Bob and Sue and their 2 boys were one such family. Their youngest, Jordan, was a favourite and he would often help me at the treasure hunts we did on the beach etc while his brother Dan was off fishing with his Dad. Last night we took one of our cars in to beautiful Maryborough for Jordan's formal. He's still gorgeous and scrubbed up very well in a suit. I had to show you the pics ..... it was really special

14.01.2022 It's been a busy weekend here with another great crowd. Thank you Anne for having your 80th birthday with us. What a milestone. You and your friends are such an inspiration.

06.01.2022 This week is our 1st anniversary 12 months ago we sold our caravan park in the Whitsundays and moved to this gorgeous block and a quieter life ! We began renovating the house and tidying up the block. We've been busy! ... We are now finishing George's Garage and can't wait to show you this area that we'll use for happy hours etc. But I've included a few photos as a tease! Guests, hot rodders, rock n rollers should get excited about this space which should be finished in the next few weeks.

05.01.2022 We walked around and had a chat to all our guests today and soaked up the sun and scored an invite to a camp oven dinner, which was delicious! Another great crowd in.

02.01.2022 Some of our guests don't come from very far away. This weekend we had quite a crowd from RV Homebase Maryborough. They (and their neighbours) joined us in George's Garage for happy hour.
