08.01.2022 Gumboot are coming out of COVID hibernation releasing their brand new single "Eagle" and accompanying video directed by Sam Rankin. It's the first song to be released from the band's forthcoming EP Deathboot, out November 2020. Both the song and video were recorded at the Gumboot Farm in the hills of regional Victoria, allowing late night jams to be improvised and recorded at all hours.... "Eagle" was mixed by Collin Hegna of the Brian Jonestown Massacre in Portland, Oregon during Gumboots US Tour. The results are obvious in "Eagle": a sprawling, high-flying jam above the Alpine mountains, letting the music flow through with the Freedom Of The Eagle!
