25.01.2022 Adults, kids, teenagers, we should all talk about our emotions. As parents we play an important roll in our children's' abilities to tune into their emotions. The more they see you talking about your emotions and accepting its okay to feel these emotions, the less scary it becomes to talk about their own. Lets get talking!

21.01.2022 Goal planning collaboratively is the way to go :) Student Support Group meetings should be a space to share progress and for your schools team to work with your child and their key support networks towards big goals that progress their education and learning.

17.01.2022 Hi everyone, hope you've enjoyed the warmer weather! We are back at the clinic for some face-to-face sessions, but we are still balancing that with some work-from-home to stay as safe as possible! This is what Bec, our practice manager, has to share about her WFH experience: 1. How has your work-from-home experience been? Like many of our families, I have been working from home & home schooling my children. ... 2. Share a pastime/something you’ve enjoyed in the last few weeks! We enjoy getting out and going on a daily walk. I prefer the warm sunny days but the kids are happy to grab a jacket and go anytime. 3. The restrictions and unpredictable changes can be tough for many of us. What's a tip you can share to help us get through the next few weeks? This definitely is a unique time... take a moment to enjoy the simple things & the quality time with your loved ones

08.01.2022 Hey everyone, hope you're all doing well! Our Occupational Therapist Lisa & OT Student Tanisha will share some of there work-from-home experiences and tips: 1. How has your work-from-home experience been? Lisa: Over the last 7 weeks, I have had the pleasure of having Tanisha an OT student join me for student placement. So that has been a new and exciting experience.... Tanisha: As a student it has been an interesting experience! We are lucky we enjoy each other's company as we're constantly on zoom calls together. We might not be physically together, but we still feel very connected. 2. Share a pastime/something you’ve enjoyed in the last few weeks! Lisa: I have been learning the ukulele and practicing my handstands to keep my body moving. Tanisha: On my weekends I have been baking with my sister. We made cookies last weekend and they disappeared very quickly! 3. The restrictions and unpredictable changes can be tough for many of us. What's a tip you can share to help us get through the next few weeks? Lisa: Switch off and enjoy the sunshine whenever you can. Tanisha: Being home all the time can mean you have more time, try to learn a new skill like Lisa has been doing!
