23.01.2022 Hello friends of Gumleaves, Last week we had to say a very tearful farewell to our beloved Ginger. She was 13 yrs old. She became ill very suddenly and unfortunately there was nothing that could be done to save her. We are heartbroken that our beautiful girl had to leave us too soon. We know that many of your children had their first ride on our girl and hope you hold her memories with you always. Her horse family are feeling the loss also, her daughter, Acorn, adopted daught...er Cuddles, her little brother Benny and little sister Sparks so if you plan to visit us soon, bring plenty of hugs and ear scratches for them. We love you so much, Ginge, and are devastated that you can't be with us anymore. Tom, Jess and Sherman Gumleaves

23.01.2022 Hello friends of Gumleaves, We are pleased to announce that we will be reopening from June 15th and are currently accepting bookings! Gumleaves will be following social distancing guidelines and undertaking extra cleaning of facilities for your health and safety.... It’s been a long road for all of us and we hope everyone made it through no worse for wear, albeit with a mild case of cabin fever, so it’s the perfect time to come down to the beautiful east coast and spend some time in the open air amongst the trees and the wallabies! Call on 0488 718 749 or email us at [email protected] to arrange your escape! Looking forward to seeing you all soon Tom, Jess & Sherman

22.01.2022 Hi Everyone! We hope you're all keeping safe during this trying time. If you're looking to get out of the city for Easter, we have had 2 cabins become available due to overseas and interstate guests needing to cancel. ... We have a small 2 bedroom cabin and a 3 bedroom cabin available from the 10th to the 13th of April. We at Gumleaves are trying our hardest to prevent any incidents and to stop the spread of this virus by restricting the amount of bookings we have in our camp grounds and caravan park, to keep distance between guests and we will be undertaking extra cleaning and usage restrictions on the amenities. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to call us on 0488718749. Thank you, Gumleaves

22.01.2022 Dear Current Guests of Gumleaves. One of our guests has checked out today and discovered that one of their little girls has lost her Fit Bit watch. It was a Christmas present and she is very upset that it has been lost. ... It has a very distinct Emoji wristband and could have been lost anywhere in the park. If somebody finds it, please contact reception so we can get it back to her and make a little girl very happy. Thank you, Gumleaves :)

03.01.2022 Dear Gumleaves guests, It is with great sadness that we have no choice but to cancel all of our current bookings for the foreseeable future, this will include all of our bookings for the Easter period. We are also no longer accepting any new bookings or walk ins during this time.... After speaking with government officials, it seems that our state will be going into lockdown and all Tasmanians are being asked to stay home unless in need of essential services such as medical trips, supermarket shopping or for essential workers. We do apologize for any inconvenience and will be refunding any payments made on upcoming bookings. It is our duty to protect our families, friends and vulnerable people from this horrible virus so please stay home unless absolutely necessary. We hope to see everyone once this horrible situation passes and we will be keeping everyone updated as to our status here on our Facebook page. Stay safe and stay home. Good luck and we wish everyone a happy Easter. Thank you, Jess and Tom Gumleaves
