25.01.2022 Visitors in the garden today yellow tailed black cockatoos. There was a group of 3 but the others had gone when I came back to take photo. Ok so I just found the other two. Eating in the bush below

25.01.2022 Another discovery. I call it egg and bacon plant because thats what I knew it as when I was child. Not sure of its botanical name. Doesnt matter : what matters is the memories it brings back of my childhood on the farm.

15.01.2022 What can be done in 4 hours. From a pile of branches to piles of mulch. The branches left have to dry out or too and need the chainsaw to cut them.

13.01.2022 The pear tree looks wonderful so full of blossom. Hope we get some pears. The bees are busy too. We gave to get the pears before the possums do.

09.01.2022 Walk around the garden today. Daffodils are out, the early plum and almond tree are in blossom. The irises are starting to come up. Its so wet though. Dams are full. Spring is on its way.

07.01.2022 Spring is here. The plum tree is in blossom and the rhododendron is out. So beautiful. And also found this little flower. Not sure what it is springtime is very special as everything wakes up from winter gloom.

05.01.2022 My job today. Weed the heart rose garden (Tick) Now to mulch it with mulch made by me with the chipper. Home grown mulch

02.01.2022 Garden walk today. All the bulbs are coming out. The rhododendron has so many flowers now. Jacquie Wheatley can you tell me what the two blue ones are.

01.01.2022 Everything changes in just a few days that I was away. The windmill climber is in full bloom and the wisteria is out too. Dont know what the climber is on the windmill but its beautiful.
