25.01.2022 Well done to Mrs Stout and the years 3-6 for their amazing emu that has taken pride of place in our front garden. They use recycled chicken wire, bamboo and other materials to produce this masterpiece as part of Design Technology this term. So cool!

21.01.2022 Had a great time at the Hy-Tec quarry! Thanks to the team there for showing us around the grounds and allowing us to be trainee geologists for the day. The students had a blast!

15.01.2022 Looking forward to our Graduation and Awards ceremony next Monday. While this ceremony might look a little different to previously years because of current regulations, it will still be excellent to see everybody there to support our students. Social distancing remains in place with all attending needing to sign in for Covid 19 contact tracing. Occupant density limits are set for our indoor spaces with any 'overflow' of people being able to view the ceremony from outside. Ple...ase call the school if you have any questions. 05.01.2022 Hi all, Mrs Matthews will have the Gunalda State School office open on Monday 18th and Tuesday 19th from 9:00am until 3pm for any office or enrolment needs. Mrs Harding will also be around on Tuesday 19th for all your uniform needs.... Gunalda State School staff are returning week before the students (Tuesday 18th to Friday 22nd) if you have any questions or would like to see your teachers. 05.01.2022 Exciting News! This year Gunalda SS is using a new app to communicate with parents called 'School Stream'. School Stream will allow us to send out messaged, notices, permission slips, newsletters and more! This will dramatically cut down on the amount of paperwork that you receive, and will mean you won't miss any of the excitement happening at Gunalda. The app also allows you to enter any student absences without needing to call the school. Best thing? It's free for parents.... This app will be our primary method of communication in 2021.
