23.01.2022 Looking for something to do? Like the sound of the movies, bowling, sushi, mall? Youth bus trip to Wagga is on this Thursday 1st October. Permission slips can be picked up at the library. 22.01.2022 DOG ON THE SELFIEBOX COMPETITION!! Get ready to pimp your pooch for his very first Dog on the Tuckerbox selfie! Give him a taste of doggy fame as he sits next to the goodest doggy in Australia.... Cootamundra-Gundagai Regional Council are celebrating the installation of our new selfie box located at the iconic Dog on the Tuckerbox! Together Gundagai and Cootamundra Youth Council have embraced this new attraction and developed the idea of running a four-legged friend photography competition! In the past we have seen some awesome photos of all your furry friends sitting beside the Dog but image if your animal was the famous icon itself! This competition is open to locals and travelers. The competition will be running on both Facebook and Instagram. The winner will be selected on the 28th of November The Dog’s 88th birthday! WIN - An awesome Radius mountain bike offering comfortable geometry, and knobby tyres. The 27.5 wheels deliver the ideal mix of agility and speed. To enter is simple: Use the hashtag #dogontheselfiebox when posting your photo Tag the Gundagai Visitor Information Centre (if posting) on Facebook and Visit Gundagai (if posting) on Instagram! Just remember your four legged friend doesn’t have to be a Dog! So let your imagination run wild, the more creative the better! 21.01.2022 Holidays are here and so is our youth week Crazy Covid Holiday Hunt and the first challenge goes up tonight! Don't forget to register via the QR code and then check our page each night over the holidays, starting this Sunday night, for the next days challenge. There are nine challenges in total, you do not need to complete all of them to be in the running for the fitness packs but there is a bonus for anyone that makes a clean sweep and completes them all. For all those wondering, fauna are the animals that are particular to our part of the world, so we were looking for any native animal living nearby. Birds were popular and we thought this close up of a baby blue tongue lizard was very cute! Great work everyone!
