17.01.2022 Gundagai museum is on the lookout for some volunteers if you are interested give the museum a call 69441995 to have a chat and organise coming down to have a look around and see what a day at the museum looks like. Also due to the current number of volunteers there have been some unplanned closures of the museum so if you are planning a visit specifically to the museum give us a quick call to ensure we are open. 12.01.2022 Different types of barb wire used around at different times. Also a showcase of different materials used for rope making, come on down to the gundagai museum to see the array of fascinating displays

11.01.2022 Updates on when we will reopen will be posted on this page once the virus is at bay and interacting with one another is safe again. Until then remember to practice social distancing when out and about in the community (1.5m minimum, or 2 arms length distance between one another), wash hands regularly for a minimum of 20 seconds, that's singing the abc's twice. If you have the luxury of working from home, do so, it's the safest option. If possible use contactless payment ...methods as coins and notes are a great harbour of bacteria and viruses. Keep a safe distance or avoid visiting the elderly, and those with a compromised immune system. Try video calling or a simple phone call to check up on loved ones that you cannot visit due to the risk being too high. If you have been told to self isolate, do so immediately, do not pop to the shops on the way home and risk spreading it to others and cashiers. Stay safe during these uncertain times. See more

09.01.2022 Due to Covid-19 Gundagai Museum will be closed to the public immediately until further notice. This is to ensure the safety of the public and the hard working volunteers who run the museum. stay tuned for updates on when we will be opening back up- hopefully this wont be too long. Remember to wash your hands, sneeze and cough into tissues and wash hands immediately after and keep a 1 metre distance between each other to "flatten the curve"
