We have been steadily working away for the past few years to actively reduce our carbon emissions right across all areas of our business. We engaged one of Australia's most highly regarded carbon consultants, Pangolin Associates to understand our carbon footprint. The final piece was to offset emissions we could not elimintate, by becoming an active investor in renewable energy & carbon mitigation projects This work goes to the heart of a driving force of Gundog - sustainability. "My wife and I dropped in on our way to Canberra. I was driving, so didn't taste, but just sniffed the wines while she tasted them. Hard to do, I know. But they all smelled amazing, and she said they tasted that way too. The reisling and the shiraz varieties were standouts. The shirazes have complex noses with some the earthiness and gaminess you get from fine pinots. The young man who served us was very personable and knowledgeable too."

12.01.2022 Another 500 native trees have been planted by Luskintyre Landcare on behalf of Gundog to help regenerate and restore the local Luskintyre Wildlife Corridor "Luskintyre Landcare aims are to regenerate the riparian zone of the Hunter River across their properties, encourage more regenerative agriculture and create wildlife corridors to enhance biodiversity. With the assistance of Gundog and Fifteen Trees, this site will extended over the coming years and continue to expand the habitat corridor with 5000 or more plants in the ground by 2023."
