At 3 weeks old he looks like an early runner with a lot of upside to him. Ibis can certainly bake them well, she will head to Yarraman Park Stud Hellbent this season. 24.01.2022 Another successful Before and After This is a 6 yr old WB show jumper, he unfortunately suffers severe arthritis in one fetlock and was a consistent grade 2 lame at trot. We slowly rehabbed him over a 3 month period, building his strength up slowly with the use of the water treadmill, and he received multiple body work treatments by the talented Fusion Equine Isabelle Chandler . We also focused on developing better balance and releasing some very sore and tight muscles on... the opposite side to the injury that had developed after a few years of compensating. He is now sound, in work jumping, and whilst he will always have arthritic changes in the fetlock, with consistent exercise and management, he now has the chance of a future. 16.01.2022 New Client of the week - An elite level eventer started with us this week for some rehabilitation on a niggling Sacroiliac Joint issue. This is his first time in the water treadmill and whilst the water is low, what we are achieving is more a ‘perceptive’ effect, by creating an environment that encourages the horse to activate his core muscles and engage his hind end, this helps stretch and strengthen the supporting muscle groups around the pelvis and encourage correct rotation of the axis in the pelvis, with out too much water resistance whilst we are trying to settle the joints inflammation. 07.01.2022 This beautiful big boy Louis went home today, down 140kg in 4 weeks! Like many horses and ponies atm, the rich grasses are causing havoc with their weight and many presenting with laminitis and obesity. The advantage of the cold salt water treadmill is that we are able to gently introduce an exercise program, whilst reducing the inflammation in their feet and providing an analgesic effect with the chilled salt water. 04.01.2022 EVENTING SUCCESS - CONDITIONING PROGRAM WITH WATER TREADMILL. Jolis Coeur on his way to jumping a foot perfect CCN2* xc round at Quirindi ODE this weekend.
