Others hoping to attend are invited to... view the service that will be live streamed at Eastlake Gungahlin, with the wake to follow thereafter. It would be amazing to see a strong showing of support from the Eagles family

20.01.2022 Meet Senga our Woman's Team Manager aka.. Our First Lady. Senga is a long time member of our club and is apart of its history and its future, with having her 3 sons all playing for Eagles too. Words don't quite sum up this woman's worth. Not only is she our manager, she is an influential lady with a solution to almost everything. If she is not organising something in our team, she's being a mum and a business entrepreneur. Some might say, Senga is the life of the party! She is our #1 supporter and loves to wind down with a few beverages at club post match functions. We love and appreciate all you do for our team!

19.01.2022 And then there were 8 days left to go!

19.01.2022 The end of a era as we say goodbye to the last of the Dobson family. Driving to and from Sydney to play with our ladies is something rare and not many would do. Your our team mate, friend role model and big sister all rolled into one. Its hard to put into words how much we appreciate and will miss you. Goodluck in your new adventures.... See you soon And remember once an Eagle, always and Eagle Love you long time girlfriend xx See more

17.01.2022 And finally meet our gracious Emma; the one who always has a smile on her face. She is an integral part of our team, her support to the team is unmatched. Whether that’s trainings, games or social events you’ll see her about, having a giggle. At trainings, she is the one setting the limits and pushing herself as well as her peers; the most encouraging team member. The team cannot wait for you to debut with us next year. Thank you for your ongoing and unconditional support. We appreciate and adore you Emma!

17.01.2022 Wrapping up the season with our heads held high! A very close game, superb efforts from the ladies. In our eyes they all are 10s still 20-17 to the owls

13.01.2022 Meet scoot, it's all in the nickname.. Scoot comes from a league background and while loving her league she grew on Union and has a love/hate relationship for the game. If she's not cracking a joke and making the team laugh, she's protecting her team and putting everything she's got on the field come game day!

11.01.2022 Happy Wiki o Te Reo Maori! We are celebrating Maori Language Week with the team list in Te Reo. Get amongst it! Kia Kaha Te Kapa GEW

08.01.2022 Versatile, resilient, and an encouraging supportive player? You got it, Chloe Troy everyone. Her knowledge and experience in rugby allows her to play any position in the back line, one of our most valued team members. On the field, she is an intimidating player, but off the field she is all smiles and giggles. She looks up to 3 incredible ladies, hear it here first: Everything Ash Dobson says about never giving up and pushing to do our best. Senga O’Byrne has encouraged me not to give up on something I love so much. And lastly Club Captain Shaneqwa Edwards, every time shes there to support me and tells me to stuff it, work hard and have fun because at the end of the day we are here to do something we all love

07.01.2022 Good luck to our girl Nikayla Sines today, as she makes her debut on the country team in the city vs country of origin game. Watch the game live http://bit.ly/CityvCountryW 12pm kick off

05.01.2022 This is Emma’s first season playing in the women’s competition, she is our baby cub of the pack. Always keen to get started on fitness and gets amongst the drills. Emmas hard work is paying off on and off the field.

04.01.2022 Happy training day Eagles #gungahlinyoubeauty

04.01.2022 Every team has a Club Captain... But we have Shaq! Shaq is also a player in our team. However, due to creating a new edition to the Eagles, is taking a break from the fields this season. Not only is she our Woman's team club captain/player, she is the teams mini Mum! Shaq is always there to lend a hand or offer support to our team on and off the field. You'll catch her at all team trainings and assisting with planing the weeks training schedules. But wait... Before the woman's team trainings Shaq can be found mentoring and supporting our Darra girls! Shaq will be sure to amp the team up come game day and is always helping the ladies to improve their game!
