18.01.2022 Attention - Important announcement: Dear Fellow Gym Trainers, From 9pm today Monday 16 March 2020 your gym will be closed until further notice due to the current Corona virus situation.... We will review this regularly and be watching the Government and Health Departments directives closely for our information. We apologise for any inconvenience and hope you will understand that we have taken this action:- To be responsible community citizens and gym members and help to contain this virus. To fulfil our duty of care to each of our members and their families who may have older parents in the susceptible health groups. Because really we are not an ‘essential service’. One can always find other methods to keep fit. As a volunteer, non-commercial organisation with no paid workers it was not possible for us to apply or police the most basic prevention measures such as handwashing before, during and after workouts, using towels and sanitisers regularly on benches and equipment and for trainers to abide by recommended ‘social distancing’ requirements of being greater than 1.5m apart at public gatherings. We look forward to your support in this matter and thank you for your understanding. We will resume training as soon as absolutely possible.
