20.01.2022 Two of the GAS team made the trip north to Hinterland Field Archers for the 3DAAA sanctioned shoot over the weekend. Michael Rule and Ben Doyle made the 7 hour drive, returning with some good results which saw Michael finally step out of Katies shadow. Ben finished the weekend with a close 5th placing in MBO, shooting a 100 on the Sunday and being part of the winning sponsored team.Getting in some good practice for his trip to the States. Michael had a great weekend, taking first place in HC, shooting the equal highest HC Saturday score, with a 294, shooting his PB score with a total of 472, also getting into the topten shoot off on Saturday, only to be beaten by the narrowest of margins in a shoot off for top dog honours.Well done guys.

There will be a canteeen at the club for breakfast and lunch and a canteeen on the range with full BBQ facilities. Chicken Burgers, Homemade rissoles and sausage sandwiches are available. We are not serving dinners as the pub has a great menu including very tasty pizza's. See you all soon.

We met Ben at the Organizati...on of Professional Archery event a couple weeks ago. Ben stayed in the USA for the last two weeks and is now shooting the Classic before heading home! Gunnedah Arrow Slingers would like to thank all our fellow archers for attending our recent state 3DAAA shoot, your positive comments and compliments on what we presented were much appreciated.A big thank you to Mark for allowing us the use of his property, im sure you all agree that he has some fantastic terrain available for 3D archery.To all our members that helped out over the weekend a big thank you for a huge effort, with special thanks to Sharlene... Carr, Jo Bogie and Jamie Gilroy, your help was invaluable.Congratulations to Geoff Chapman for winning the delta mckenzie wild boar 3D target, with thanks to Abbey Archery for looking after us with the price.Thanks also to all our other fantastic sponsors for some great prizes.For those that didn't attend, you missed shooting arguably the best 5 ranges of 3D in NSW if not Australia, safe,challenging and enjoyable ranges with varied distances, terrain and targets set in life like surroundings, all combined with great hospitality has seen GAS exceed even its own high standards from last years shoot. Dont forget also, we have the cafe on the hill for your convenience with plenty of drinks,food, tea & coffee available as well as a toilet. Why dont you stop for lunch and enjoy the scenery, you can watch everybody else shoot theres a bear in there and a turkey as well.

03.01.2022 It's a another beautiful day in Curlewis.The ranges are set and all is in readiness for what we hope will be a great weekend of fun challenging shooting.The Jokers wild Topten is set and if you are still undecided about coming check out the awesome raffle prizes we have on offer again.This year we have a delta McKenzie wild boar as a prize.Plenty of camping and hot showers.
