24.01.2022 Registrations are now open!!

23.01.2022 Attn ALL families wishing for their child/ren to attend state Championships please read the following provided by LANSW. There will be no Zone or Regional Champs and State Champs will be split over 2 weekends. We have just received the following information for qualifying for the LITTLES STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS ... This is for those in the under 9, 10, 11 and 12 year old age groups. To compete at the Littles State Champs the following process will take place: 1. Athletes can enter up to 4 events 2. Each athlete has until December 31 to meet the qualifying standard in their chosen events. This can be achieved either at our centre on a club night or by attending a gala day. 3. Our centre will be advised by January 15 if athletes have successfully qualified 4. Successful athletes will then attend a Region 1 qualifier in Tamworth on January 30-31 5. Succesful Region qualifiers (we do not have details on this yet but generally those who place 1st or 2nd at Regional qualify) will then attend the Littles State Champs at Olympic Park on March 20 and 21. Details on qualifications for the Youth State Champs for under 13 to 17s will follow later. If your child has achieved the minimum standards and you wish to attend the regional qualify you will need to submit these results to Gunnedah LAC. Nomination form will be emailed out over the next few days. This form will need to be submitted to the club by Friday 19th December.

22.01.2022 Little Athletics NSW would like to provide our Centres and Members with an update in relation to Championship (Zone/Region/State) events for the 2020/2021 seaso...n. The Covid-19 Pandemic will have an impact on how we deliver our championship events this season. The board is committed to delivering quality events that keep our members safe. The staff and championships committee have been considering a number of options to achieve this. Whilst we currently do not have the final details we would like to share some of the details with you all: The traditional Zone and Region Championships will not take place this season. A number of State Qualifying meets will be held in the early part of 2021, most likely February. A State Championship Event will be held in March. The full details of the above will be announced in the coming weeks.
