19.01.2022 Hi All, we do have timeframes we need to get information to NNSW regarding refunds. Please check your emails as the required information has now been sent to you via the email you registered with on the MyNetball website. We need to have this information to NNSW by close of business Monday 27th July. If we don’t this will effect the process of getting appropriate refunds to people. If you haven’t received the email please get in touch as soon as possible.

19.01.2022 We are so excited to announce that registrations are now open for our 2021 Winter Season!!! The season is set to start Saturday May 1st 2021 with the Grand Final to take place on Saturday 11th September 2021. Registration fees are as below: NetSetGo: $100... Junior: $120 Senior: $130 Non Player: $55 There is a $10 early bird discount for Junior and Senior Players if you register prior to 18th April 2021. 15.01.2022 Update - Refunds. We now have guidelines from NNSW regarding our refund policy in relation to this season. Please keep an eye on your email account that you used when registering via the Mynetball website. We will be sending information to this email address very shortly. If you haven’t received an email within the next week or so please let us know.

They have been busily working away in regards to finalising this process and we understand that information and details will hopefully be sent out to associations at the end of this week as to how to go about processing refund payments. 10.01.2022 Update - Twilight Competition. It is again with much sadness that we now advise that a summer twilight competition will not be going ahead this year. Unfortunately with everything going on with the Covid Pandemic and all the uncertainty it brings, for us as a small association, we just don’t have the resources to hold a competition. We again fully support the current restrictions and requirements put in place by authorities but for us it is extremely difficult to meet those.... Above all of this, the most important thing is maintaining everybody’s health and safety and to ensure we are not putting anybody at risk, unfortunately this is the safest and best option. We know next year is most certainly going to be bigger and better and we can’t wait to see everyone back on the court then. Please accept our sincerest apologies. See more

We are holding our final meeting on Tuesday 29th September at the Gunnedah Servies Club and would like to invite you along. If you’ve got any questions or want to find out a bit more about positions or general goings on, please come and say hello between 6 and 6:30pm....We look forward to catching up!! 10.01.2022 UPDATE - Winter Competition. Dear All, It is with much sadness and a heavy heart that we wish to advise that we won’t be moving forward with a winter competition. Again, this has been a harrowing decision and certainly not a decision that has been made lightly. There were many, many meetings and discussions as well as a lengthy consultation process involving numerous stakeholders and whilst it was a difficult decision, we believe it is the right one. There is not enough spac...e here to go through the entire decision making process but essentially the basis of the decision centred around the guidelines, systems and protocols that need to be in place to ensure everyone’s safety, health and well being is maintained. We need to make it clear we fully support and endorse the guidelines and protocols put forward by government, health, local council and Netball NSW. The issue in itself though, is our ability to implement them as a small association, as well as police and monitor those guidelines at this time, and we simply don’t have the resources to do that on a number of levels. We would like to again thank everyone for their patience and realise this is not an ideal outcome but we also need to be mindful of the fact that there are serious consequences if we are found to be in breach of the public health act that can involve fines of up to $55000. We would like to thank Gunnedah Council and Netball NSW for all of their communication and support at this time, it has also been very much appreciated. This obviously raises questions about registrations and refunds and what this means moving forward. We again ask for people’s patience in this regard. Please know we are working through this with Netball NSW as we speak. We don’t have a definitive answer just yet but we have been assured this won’t be an issue but the final details have not yet been sorted. Rest assured that we are moving through this process as quickly as possible but we can only move as fast as the information and direction from Netball NSW allows us. There is also the issue of the kids sports vouchers that need to be clarified also. We will also be in touch with our rep teams very shortly to work through some options and opportunities that may be available at this time as well. Again, please accept our apologies we know this is not ideal but we needed to make a decision based on a number of key areas and first and foremost was the need to protect everyone’s health, well-being and safety and the best way to do that at this time is to forego the winter season competition. We are still looking at holding a summer twilight competition so please keep an eye out for further details on that one. If anyone has any questions or concerns please get in touch. 06.01.2022 Tamworth Monday Night Comp. Hi All, With everything that has been going on we have been liaising with our wonderful netball colleagues over in Tamworth. We asked about the possibility of some our teams possibly being included in their Saturday competition. Unfortunately this wasn’t possible for a few reasons which we completely understand. However, if any teams are interested there is an opportunity to join their Monday night comp. It is a strong competition that their rep t...eams participate in also. They also said they would do everything possible to ensure any Gunnedah team wouldn’t be allocated the last time slot and games are being played on the outside courts.
